I would have liked Walt Whitman, William Shakespeare, and other unacknowledged legislators to be cosmic, COSMIC,

dear Lord,

A kinder, gentler cosmic, perhaps, not hegemonic or domineering, not secretive, or perverted, exploitative or reactionary, never ever money grubbing,

A cosmic guiding, rippling as love ripples,

Infinite in a reflecting pond, beyond Capitol Dome, Lincoln Immemorial, Teapot Done Dome, Rome — suicidal? Purgatorial, vomitorium, bulimic, Teapot Dome immoral,

Rippling as love ripples, at a mother’s nipples,

Slink suicidal, as if, at a recital, or high level swank, a balloon, bearing ballast, from Mannahaballast, rim shots with blasts from the past, Madison Square Garden, pretty in pink, tunes up its real estate to screw itself up the ass,
