I love Howard Lutnick. Have done so since days following September 11, 2001. The guy is a keeper.
His firm, appropriately named Cantor and Fitzgerald, was headquartered in one of the two World Trade Center towers… demolished on what we call, 9-11.
I’m more interested in the conjunction of Cantor with Fitzgerald than anything else.
The conjunction is wild and holy howling wooly wholly, and holly fa la la, and entirely appropriate, as a data entry, on Mannahatta. A Cantor, who sings and chants, blows solemn swirls through adobe, and tight bright chancel quarters with one of those Fitzgerald types, who, captain’s chambers, from out of the brig, takes a swig,
And do swagger.
