“We” know the mood, atmosphere, and vibe is not of alienation or estrangement.

“We” know it is a morose mood, and we are working towards understanding what morose means. “We” have tentatively excluded “ill-tempered” from the meaning of morose.

Under the authority of Noah Webster, we’ve been directed to considering the meaning of morose is sullen.

At the same time, Noah, which is of course an Old Testament name, indicates and indexes us to refer to “mood”. Understanding morose requires understanding mood — why? Could it be because mood, and morose, involve a “mo” sound, or phoneme, at the beginning? Does this privilege morose as a ruling atmosphere, mood, or vibe?
