I’ve often wondered why Nebraska is categorized as Midwestern.

You asking me– Nebraska is western.

Nebraska could teach John Wayne, or Ron Reagan, a thing or two about the western.

Could it teach John Ford a thing or two about the western? Probably not.

Meat packing is apparently midwestern.

Take, for example, Wisconsin. The Green Bay “Packers”. A football (American) team, of the contact sport variety, making an art of packing meat.
