Though they are very different, I love Walt Whitman and Oscar Wilde.

It is not because they are both “gay” and so am I.

I am not “gay”.

I don’t believe Walt Whitman and Oscar Wilde are gay. Yet, putting the matter fey, if Walt Whitman and Oscar Wilde are gay, then that’s okay, and I would be so gay.

I believe, anyway.

We would be gay in a different way.
