H-E has a roof over her head, and for that, H-E is very, very grateful.

She has a meal ticket.

For that, she is very, very grateful. It is a deluxe meal ticket.

H-E has a maid, cute as a button.

The maid is refined. The maid has clearly benefited from “Finishing School”.

H-E has four years of high school French under her belt, plus a 5 on her AP French exam, taken in her senior year. How it came up, neither knew, but the maid speaks French, fluently. The maid has mastered French. On the AP French exam, the maid would have scored 25, or more. Interesting.

It turns out the maid has shuttled back and forth from NYC to Paris, on a regular basis.

The maid had a 5 on her AP French exam, plus this real life experience in Paris, building on it. Refining it, and finishing it. H-E instantly knows the real life experience of the maid, provided by 9 East 71st Street, separated the men from the boys, the wheat from the chaff, the real thing from the fony, the goats from the sheep. H-E’s 5 on her AP French exam wasn’t worth the paper printed on.

If it came down to it, H-E would be made a maid, make other maidens feel at home, or at least not homeless, at 9 East 71st Street, in order to know the nuances of the French language, make it real, make it vibrant, entertain a bon vivant, with a fresh croissant, as this cute as a button maid would deliver H-E, recovering from her trip– a broad abroad.
